Background

Ms. Goodman is a Senior Director of Business Development at MCRA with approximately 20+ years of sales and business development clinical leadership experience working for multinational companies such as PAREXEL International, INC Research, MPI Research and Charles River Laboratories.

Education

Ms. Goodman received her master's degree in Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health/Emory University. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Pre-Medicine from Emory University. 

Experience

A seasoned professional in the CRO/pharma/medtech realm spanning the entire drug discovery continuum from early discovery to post market approval. She is a self-motivated results-oriented professional with strategic alliance management experience, complex relationships with multiple decision makers and stakeholders, building internal support and on point messaging, client focused partnerships to consistently deliver improved productivity and increased profitability.

Most recently with PAREXEL International, Ms. Goodman played a global role leading an enterprise-wide strategic partnership account, responsibilities included operations, sales, quality, and delivery. Regularly traveled with her team to provide executive level support and advisory services to clients globally.

While at INC Research, she has successfully planned and implemented objectives of the sales action plan, budgeting of time and resources, communicating and leading operational staff to achieve goals of $30 million per client.

Member of the New York BIO and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), NJ BIO as part of a planning committee, and a council member of the American Association for Laboratory Science (AALAS).

 

Overview

Ms. Goodman is responsible for her leadership in sales, marketing, business operations, owns the sales process and bid pursuits while applying best practices, including identifying the appropriate bid defense team, prepare and lead the sales presentation, educate team participants in client culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques. She has knowledge of BARDA, GLP, GCP, GMP, IND, IDE, BLA and NDA requirements, and specialty therapeutic focus on orthopedics, vaccination studies, infectious disease, rare disease, oncology, CNS, medical device, biologics, combination device experience. Ms. Goodman is instrumental in fostering relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies with complementary development pipelines to secure new business opportunities with clients.
