Background

Ms. Watson has more than 25 years’ experience working in progressive roles such as Associate Director, Clinical Trial Manager, Study Team Lead, Vendor Manager, Sr. Medical Research Coordinator, and Sr. CRA. During her career, she led and monitored several IND, IDE, and 510(k) studies that resulted in the successful FDA approval of two Fluoroquinolones, two Allografts, several wound healing dressings, one gene therapy biologic, one insomnia drug, and a traditional negative wound pressure therapy device.

Education

Ms. Watson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from UNC-Wilmington (Wilmington, N.C.) and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research from Campbell University (Buies Creek, N.C.). She maintains CRA certification (CCRA) through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

Ms. Watson has more than two decades of clinical research experience working in progressive roles such as Clinical Trial Manager, Study Team Lead, Vendor Manager, Sr. Medical Research Coordinator, and Sr. CRA. Throughout her career, Ms. Watson has worked on numerous pharmaceutical, medical device, biologics, vaccine, and human tissue-based studies. Her specialty areas include wound care and dermatology whereby she has monitored and managed these study types for over ten years.

Ms. Watson has extensive knowledge in the field of clinical research with expertise in IRB submission, regulatory compliance, protocol development, & the management and oversight of clinical trials and CRAs.
