Gretchen has more than 12 years' experience in neurology and cardiovascular clinical research. She has the proven ability to lead teams to achieve corporate goals and offers an in-depth understanding of the clinical development process and remains focused on customer satisfaction throughout all stages.
Prior to joining MCRA, Gretchen spent 7+ years leading the neurostimulation clinical team at Abbott, where she was a top ranked manager, recognized for contributions to increasing study enrollments. She leveraged her clinical expertise to help bring quality and efficiency to the clinical trial process. She worked closely with study personnel, site monitors and principal investigators to ensure the accuracy and quality of data collected from study sites. She demonstrated her ability to build and maintain relationships with site teams, investigators, and ultimately sponsors, in addition to conducting peer training on various requirements and all aspects of clinical trial management. Gretchen began her career as a Senior Field Clinical Engineer managing Cardiac and Neuromodulation sites.
Gretchen has a Bachelor of Science in Neurology, Physiology and Behavior from University of California, Davis.
At MCRA, Gretchen is responsible for ensuring clinical projects are properly resourced, managed and executed within budget and in accordance with established timelines and quality standards. Gretchen oversees a team of skilled clinical professionals to support MCRA's clients' needs, while working closely with MCRA's Integrated Regulatory, Reimbursement and Statistical departments. Gretchen works collaboratively with multiple vendors and industry stakeholders to provide a first in class study design and execution.
