(April 22, 2009) – PearlDiver Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the establishment of its new Washington, D.C. office. Established in late 2006 and based in Fort Wayne (with additional facilities in Colorado Springs, CO and Philadelphia, PA), PearlDiver is a leading medical informatics company. The company has built what is believed to be the largest, fully HIPAA-compliant, publicly available and searchable database of patient records in the country. At present, the PearlDiver database contains over 136 million patient records across nearly 8 million unique patients. Plans call for the database to top 400 million patient records across more than 40 million unique patients by the end of 2009. “We continue to build not only our signature database product but also our consulting and strategic advisory services,” said Robin Young, co-founder and CEO of PearlDiver. “Our firm has grown to the point where a Washington, D.C. office makes sense given our need for access to, and influence on, certain healthcare information and policy work.” Leading the D.C. office is PearlDiver business development associate Meg Young. The office is co-located within the headquarters of Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisors, LLC (MCRA). “MCRA welcomes an office of PearlDiver Technologies within our H Street building,” added Charles Schneider, vice president—reimbursement at Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisors. “There is a good fit between our two companies, and we see great potential for a closer working relationship over time. We’re happy to have a portion of PearlDiver’s business development team located here.” About MCRA About PearlDiver Technologies (www.pearldiverinc.com) |
