DAVID W. LOWN HAS MORE THAN 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITHIN PRIVATE EQUITY, CONSULTING, AND OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP ROLES. Mr. Lown has substantive experience in the medical device industry with domain-specific experience within the musculoskeletal and orthopedic sub-segments of the healthcare landscape. Today, Mr. Lown is responsible for the management of Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisers, LLC (MCRA), the leading specialized advisory and consulting firm exclusively servicing the orthopedic industry in the key areas of regulatory, clinical, reimbursement, intellectual property, quality assurance, manufacturing, and healthcare compliance. In this capacity, Mr. Lown manages more than 40 employees and is responsible for the financial, operational and strategic directives of the firm. Prior to assuming his senior executive management role at MCRA, Mr. Lown attained significant financial and operational medical device industry experience through various management roles with top tier medical device and financial companies, including Spine Solutions, Inc. (acquired by Synthes, Inc. in 2003), Small Bone Innovations, Inc., and Viscogliosi Bros., LLC.
In addition to his medical device operational experience, Mr. Lown also has more than 13 years of merchant banking, venture capital and private equity investing experience attained through his role at Viscogliosi Brothers, LLC, an industry-focused merchant banking and venture capital firm. Through his experience, Mr. Lown has assumed senior leadership roles in the execution of multiple middle market medical device and orthopedic buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions of numerous sizes and was accountable for the co-management of internal & external capital raising mandates & efforts, as specifically related to active debt & equity principal investments, including legal, tax & accounting structuring & strategy execution.

Ms. Goodman is a Senior Director of Business Development at MCRA with approximately 15+ years of sales and business development clinical leadership experience working for multinational companies such as PAREXEL International, INC Research, MPI Research and Charles River Laboratories.
A seasoned professional in the CRO/pharma realm spanning the entire drug discovery continuum from early discovery to post market approval. She has expert knowledge of BARDA, GLP, GCP, IND and NDA requirements with specialty therapeutic focus on vaccination studies, oncology, and CNS. She is a self-motivated results-oriented professional with strategic alliance management experience, complex relationships with multiple decision makers and stakeholders, building internal support and on point messaging, client focused partnerships to consistently deliver improved productivity and increased profitability. Ms. Goodman has been instrumental in fostering relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies with complementary development pipelines to secure new business opportunities with clients.
Most recently with PAREXEL International, Ms. Goodman played a global role leading an enterprise-wide strategic partnership account, responsibilities included operations, sales, quality, and delivery. When working for clients, she provides strategic and logistical direction in all client activities to ensure the relationship in leveraging all capabilities and service offerings. As such, she has surpassed 2016 full-year target of $255 million of which $150 million in new business. She regularly traveled with her team to provide executive level support and advisory services to clients globally. Formerly, while at INC Research, she has successfully planned and implemented objectives of the sales action plan, budgeting of time and resources, communicating and leading operational staff to achieve goals of $30 million per client.
Comfortable working with all levels of a client organization, Ms. Goodman owns the sales process and bid pursuits while applying best practices, including identifying the appropriate bid defense team, prepare and lead the sales presentation, educate team participants in client culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques.
Ms. Goodman is a member of the New York BIO and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), NJ BIO as part of a planning committee, and a council member of the American Association for Laboratory Science (AALAS).
Ms. Goodman received her Master of Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health/Emory University and a BA in Psychology and Pre-Medicine from Emory University.
